PEXON ROMANIA S.R.L. is based in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, and works in English across Europe. We embed senior engineers inside industrial companies to build AI systems that run in the customer's own cloud tenant, respect their existing permission model, and are contracted under German law.
The name for that model is forward deployed engineering, and it exists because of a specific failure pattern. Most AI projects do not fail on model choice. They fail somewhere between the pilot and the systems that actually hold the data — in permissions nobody had audited, in a source system with no usable API, in a works council agreement that arrived after the architecture was fixed. None of that is visible from outside, which is why we do not work from outside.
Engagements start with a two-week fixed-price blueprint at €4,900. Ongoing work runs as a monthly pod. There is no version of this where we write a strategy and hand it to somebody else to implement.

What does forward deployed mean in practice?
Our engineers work inside your environment, on your systems, alongside your team, for the duration of the engagement. They are not producing a recommendation for someone else to build. The distinction matters because most AI projects fail in the integration, not in the model choice, and integration is only visible from inside.
Where is Pexon Romania based, and does that matter?

Pexon Consulting GmbH is a separate German company serving the DACH market in German, with its own cloud and AI consulting practice. Pexon Romania is a separate legal entity focused on English-language AI engineering across Europe. Two companies, one group, different work.
How do engagements start?
With a two-week fixed-price blueprint. We look at the data layer, the permission model and the systems the AI would have to reach, and you end with an architecture and a cost figure rather than a proposal. If the answer is that the project should not proceed, that is what the blueprint says.
Which law applies to the contract?
German law. That is deliberate: it is what procurement departments in our market are set up to review, and it removes a negotiation that otherwise adds weeks to a first engagement with a company registered in Romania.
