Who is the employer, and under which law?
PEXON ROMANIA S.R.L., registered in Cluj-Napoca. It is the AI engineering hub of Pexon Group, and it is the company on the employment contract. Pexon Consulting GmbH is a different company in the same group serving the DACH market, and a role advertised here is not a role there.
Do you publish salary ranges in the advert?
No. The range for the role is given in the first conversation, before any technical session and before you are asked to invest an evening in a task. If that is a dealbreaker, ask for it in your first message and you will get it in the reply rather than after a round.
Is the work remote?
The roles are based at the Cluj-Napoca office and the team is built around people who can be in it. The current hybrid arrangement is a question worth asking in the first conversation, because it is a team agreement rather than a policy this page can freeze in writing.
What does forward deployed mean for the job itself?
You work in a customer's own cloud tenant, on their systems, next to their engineers, for the length of the engagement. It means real production constraints, other people's legacy, and a permission model you did not design. It also means you see whether the thing you built is actually used.
