For sales teams in production companies on weclapp

A weclapp MCP server that reads the open quotation and does not accept it

A weclapp MCP server reads quotations, opportunities and customers from the tenant's own REST API. weclapp does not ship an MCP server as of 6 October 2026. Version 2 documents accepting a quotation as a separate call. Pexon leaves that call out. The token is a seller, not an administrator.

What we build

A first weclapp tool list, written as the manifest your IT team signs

Built on what weclapp SE documents: customers and parties, opportunities, quotations, sales orders, sales invoices. Backends named below are documented resources; "confirmed in blueprint" means the vendor documentation sits behind a login and the resource is checked against your release first.

# weclapp-mcp-server: tool manifest, draft for blueprint week 1
# Every tool runs as the person asking. Nothing is written without a person confirming.
tools:
list_open_quotations: # customer -> quotations that are not accepted
backend: GET /quotation, v1 or v2 as the tenant runs
    mode: read
get_quotation: # id -> status, date, customer, items
    backend: GET /quotation/id/{id}
    mode: read
  list_opportunities:   # filter -> open opportunities
backend: GET /opportunity on v2, confirmed in blueprint on v1
    mode: read
get_party: # id -> the customer or contact
    backend: GET /party/id/{id} on v2, or /customer on v1
    mode: read
  draft_quotation_note: # quotation, text -> a note a person saves
backend: not posted by the agent
    mode: propose
audit: every call logged with user, tool, arguments and the weclapp response

The manifest is the contract. A question that needs an operation not on it gets a new line and a review, not a wider permission.

weclapp SE (DE). Cloud-first SMEs in trade and services. The DACH overview of 14 May 2026 lists weclapp at more than 12,000 customers, part of 3U Holding, in Marburg, with CRM and ERP in one suite.

Why weclapp is hard for agents

Where a weclapp connection needs engineering, not configuration

01 · Tenant

The host is the tenant, not weclapp.com

Every call goes to https://{tenant}.weclapp.com. A token from one tenant does not answer for another.

02 · Version

v1 customers and v2 parties are not the same path

v2 moves customers, contacts, leads and suppliers onto /party. A tool built on /customer fails on a tenant that has moved, and the other way around.

03 · Quote

Accepting a quotation is a write

v2 documents POST /quotation/id/{id}/accept and other price actions. Those stay out of the tool list. Reading the quotation is the sales question.

04 · Token

An API token is not a seller

A tenant token can see every record that token's user can see. If that user is an administrator, the assistant is an administrator. The blueprint uses a user with the seller's rights.

weclapp holds the records. An assistant without a governed way in answers from whatever someone pasted into the chat. The connector is the governed way in: named operations, the person's own permissions, every call logged.

What the connector answers, and what it will not do

Questions it answers

  • Which quotations for this customer are still open?
  • Which opportunities are open, and which quotation is linked?
  • What is the status of this sales order?

What it will not do

  • Accept a quotation, recalculate prices or create a sales order. A person does that in weclapp.
  • Call v1 and v2 as if they were one schema.
  • Use an administrator token as the assistant's identity.

When this is the wrong page

If the question is the ERP stock behind the quote, say so. weclapp is both. This page is the sales question: open quotations and opportunities. Warehouse movements are a different tool list.

Start with the Readiness Blueprint.

Two weeks, €4,900 fixed price. Week one agrees the tool list with your weclapp owners and checks every backend against your release and licence. Week two tests whether a person's own weclapp permissions reach through the connector. You keep the manifest and a costed build plan, whoever builds it. All prices are net and exclude VAT.

What we need from you: a named weclapp administrator, a test or sandbox system we may call, and one business owner who can say which questions the assistant should answer first. The first production connector is usually a use-case pilot from €15,000; it runs in your environment, and the code is yours.

Questions weclapp teams ask before the first tool call

Does weclapp ship its own MCP server?

No weclapp MCP server is described on weclapp.com/api or the v2 changelog read on 6 October 2026. This page describes what we add around that fact: a signed tool list and a test that the asking user only sees their own records.

Can the assistant change a deal or send a mail?

Not on the list we sign. The blueprint starts read-only. A draft the person saves in the CRM is the only write, and only after that is agreed.

Will two sellers see the same pipeline?

Only where the CRM would already show both of them the same records. Calls run as the person who asked. The blueprint tests that with two users before anything is called production.

What does a weclapp connector cost?

The two-week Readiness Blueprint is fixed at €4,900: the tool list, a check against your tenant, and a test that permissions survive the round trip. A production connector is usually a use-case pilot from €15,000. Prices are net, excluding VAT.

Next step

Not a sales call. An architecture call.

Thirty minutes with the engineer who would build the connector, with your weclapp administrator in the room if you like.
